We are taking the evolution unit test next week, along with a new Review Feud! Let's see which team will be the winners. We are all even with each team having 1 win each.
Here is a question for you:
What is the weirdest animal?
Here is mine:
I think the weirdest animal is the Barreleye fish. It has a see-through head.

All 4 teams have one victory..who is going to be victorious this time around? You should encourage your teammates to DO THE CASTLE LEARNING ASSIGNMENTS!! good luck to all...
Team GREEN!! Due to the extra awesomeness of a few team members (their first names start with J),
the green team pulled off a massive victory!
The castle learning stuff really pays off! I'm wondering, does the castle learning help you to get a higher score on the assessment?
We should design an experiment!
We just spent 2 days reviewing with stations. The Orange team finished with a solid 169 points, the pink came in second with 145 points, white came in third with 139 points then green with 122. Points were determined with 4 categories: castle learning, interactive binders, vocab hangman and study guide completion. The winning team will receive a prize (no spoilers) as well as bragging rights. Next unit promises to be even more awesome as we will include more days for review and more ways to earn points for your team!!!
In Biology we talked about the way we define life. As Biologists, we define an organism as something that shows the 8 characteristics of living things:cells, grows, uses energy, etc, but we then questioned that definition with regard to AI (Artificial Intelligence) and whether something like a sentient robot can ever be considered living. Make some comments! You get extra credit!!!
